kpeArts Goes to Berlin

kpeArts finally went global and teamed up with Adeline Talbot of Studio Traveler.  We had an amazing six days in the capital of cool, Berlin, Germany during the week of the abc art fair.  There was lots of art and architecture to be seen.  We certainly didn't starve hitting many of Berlin's culinary hot spots.  And we loved staying at one of Berlin's new boutique hotels Das Stue, which backed up to the Tiergarten and the Berlin Zoo.  Here are some photos from our trip:

Some of the highlights of our visit included the summer palace of Frederick the Great ~ Sans Souci in Potsdam, the Einstein Tor, Hamburger Bahnhof, Sammlung Boros, Sammlung Hoffmann, the Neue National Galerie, the Jewish Museum, the abc art fair, Galerie NEU, neugerreimschneider, Galerie Michael Fuchs, Capitain-Petzel Galerie and the studios of Oystein Aasan and Alicja Kwade.

Our favorite restaurants included Pauly Saal, Katz Orange, Lokal, the Soho House Berlin, borchardt's and tea at the Adlon Hotel.  And we can't forget the delicious breakfast, snacks and house cocktails at Das Stue.
